Sky Zero Bond Offer Scam Review - Not Climate Bonds
Sky Zero is a genuine incentive for Sky to reduce their carbon footprint and hit net zero emissions by 2030. The Sky Zero bond offer being sent out in their name is not.
In addition the same scammers are now using SSE and Wells Fargo names for their scams.

However scammers are using the Sky Zero name to email out bond offers to unsuspecting investors offering up to 3.75% for investments of over £50,000 for 12 months.
REMEMBER - it is illegal for companies to sell bonds directly to the public now so this scam is not genuine.
These investments are nothing to do with Sky or Sky Zero and are scammers taking advantage of the Sky Zero name to persuade people to part with their money for worthless bonds. If you hand cash over you are unlikely to ever see it again and the scammers will have disappeared in 12 months when you want to get your money back!
It appears that they are trying to confuse the green/climate bonds that are being legitimately offered with the Sky Zero initiative to scam people - make sure you check what you are investing in.
The fake website is skyzero.online which has absolutely nothing to do with Sky and was only registered in December 2021. The website also shows a fake address of a shopping centre Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2SS which has a website https://www.royalvictoriaplace.com/

Summary - One to avoid!
Review of Sky Zero Bond Offer Scam - Not Climate Bonds |
I've received an email and was quite convincing . I registered my interest and a guy phoned Me today. He said to act quick as they won't be available at the end of next week he said he was emailing the forms to fill in, and I did I'll have to look in to it for a scam and he said its legit and can be searched online with something or other for proof. I won't be investing but if it is a scam it is quite convincing as I have been with sky for ages
ReplyDeleteI will phone sky dorect
Please let us know what Sky say. You can be sure they'll know nothing about this "bond" offer. The tactic of putting the pressure of time limits on the offer is a typical scam tactic - they won't be here next week because they'll have moved on to the next thing!
DeleteI also received this email and registered my interest. Like you, a guy phoned me and wanted me to go online as I spoke to him. I told him this was not convenient and asked him to send an email with all the details. Five hours later - nothing !
DeleteAs well as the sky zero emails I've started receiving similar from what purports to be Rolls Royce Holdings.
